Conclave of the Four Winds – A New Berserk Season Begins
On 1st December at 12:00 UTC, the next Berserk CCG season begins:
Conclave of the Four Winds.
Set between the events of Seasons of Change and the upcoming Sands of Time expansion, this is a transitional season where politics, trade routes and old grudges take centre stage. No new cards are being minted for this one – it’s all about mastering the existing Berserk card pool, climbing the new Season leaderboard, and earning some serious NFT card rewards.
Lore: When Trade Winds Turn to Tension
Sixteen years after a young scribe of the House of Records mapped the wild chaos of post-war Arcadia, VulcanVerse has changed.
- In Boreas, the scars of the Amazon Wars have faded. Hilltop forts fly fresh banners, mammoth herds are watched by hard-faced riders, and while tribal skirmishes continue, the days of world-ending war are over – for now.
- In Arcadia, the strangling vines have been hacked back from the Summer Palace, lost shrines in the Deep Forest are uncovered, and markets along the Arcady Trail thrive again. The old divine order – what is sacred, what is forbidden, who stands where – is slowly returning.
- In Notus, things are not so simple. Warlords and desert princes still rule behind half-buried walls. Spice caravans creep past ruined canals and the dry scar of the Great River, harassed for tolls near the Shrine of Tethys. The death of the Myrmidon king Megistophron has triggered a struggle for power in Iskandria.
To break the deadlock, Vulcan City calls the Conclave of the Four Winds. Envoys from Boreas, Arcadia and Notus meet beneath the smoke-stained domes of the capital. One chair – reserved for Hades – remains empty.
Arguments over blockaded spice routes, trade rights and the future balance of power echo through the halls.
The Gods Are Watching
Though the Conclave had been called by mortal hands, whispers carried upward into the high halls of Olympus. Most of the gods – especially those of commerce, safe passage and the delicate craft of peace – regarded this fragile stability with rare approval.
- Hermes, ever guardian of trade and travellers, smiled upon the reopening of the routes.
- Hestia welcomed the warming of long-cold hearths in Boreas and Arcadia.
- The stern arbiters of oaths and civic order allowed themselves a moment of quiet satisfaction.
But not all divine eyes looked kindly on this calm.

In storm-haunted halls, in deep places beneath the earth, and in domains where strife is as sacred as breath, other gods and entities stirred with displeasure. To them, stillness was stagnation and peace nothing more than the prelude to weakness. Their whispers slid through cracks in the world, urging old grudges to wake.
Even as dignitaries shook hands, distant thunder muttered a warning: some gods had no intention of letting the Four Winds settle, and their thoughts had already turned back toward war.
This is the balance you’re stepping into when the Conclave of the Four Winds season begins. Mortals chasing trade and stability, gods quietly choosing sides, and a peace that feels just fragile enough to break..

New Balance Card: Favor of the Gods
Alongside the Conclave season, we’ve shipped a small but important balance change:
Favor of the Gods — a 0-cost spell that gives +1 Lava.
- The card is automatically given to Player 2 at the start of the match.
- The goal is to smooth out first-turn advantage, giving the second player an immediate tempo boost and fairer openings without changing existing decks.

It’s a simple fix with a big impact on how early turns play out, especially at the competitive end of the ladder.
