A pop-up window will greet you with a warm welcome and a brief overview of VulcanVerse’s expansive possibilities, from foraging for resources and creating your own quests to epic PvP battles and alliances. And the best part? Everything you earn or build is truly yours, thanks to the power of blockchain technology.

Ah, Cadmilus! Floating majestically above his ever-present cloud, this jolly and wise figure awaits near the Main Temple stairs. With a scroll in hand and a twinkle in his eye, he’s here to guide you through your first steps in VulcanVerse.

A quirky, knowledgeable NPC with a knack for guiding travelers. He’ll introduce you to the world of VulcanVerse, explain its rules, and assign your first quests to help you master the basics. - Quest #1: Welcome to VulcanVerse
Speak to Cadmilus to get a sense of the lands you’ve entered. This is your chance to familiarize yourself with the world, its resources, and what lies ahead. Complete this, and you’ll be rewarded with some resources, including XP—your first step into the realm of rewards.
Choose Your Vulcanite as Part of the VulcanVerse Tutorial
“Every great journey begins with a loyal companion,” says Cadmilus. Enter your second quest, “Choose Your Vulcanite”, where eight unique Level 0 Vulcanites are summoned before you.
From the cute but mischievous Fae Fox to the screeching Storm Crow, each Vulcanite boasts unique attributes and lore. Whether you need a foraging expert, a combat warrior, or an espionage scout, Cadmilus will help you choose wisely.
Your choice isn’t just about looks—consider stats like Attack, Defense, Foraging, and Espionage to tailor your Vulcanite to your playstyle. Once selected, your Vulcanite becomes your loyal ally, ready to forage resources, battle enemies, and defend your lands.
Reward: 4 Silver, 10 Copper, 40 XP (note, this is subject to change), and your first Vulcanite!
Explore, Spy, and Forage
With your Vulcanite by your side, the VulcanVerse tutorial guides you to venture outside the city walls. Your third quest, “Spying, Foraging, Spyforaging”, introduces you to resource gathering and reconnaissance.
- Spy Plots: Gather information about resources and defenses.
- Forage Crystals: Use your Vulcanite to collect essential materials.
- Spy Forage: A tactical combination of spying and foraging for extra loot.

Cadmilus will guide you through the upkeep of your Vulcanite in “Vulcanite Maintenance.” As a mortal companion, your Vulcanite’s strength requires periodic maintenance. Exchange foraged resources for Silver with the Merchant and keep your ally in top form.
