Vulcan’s September Showdown: Over 150 Winners Share $50,000 in Epic Prizes
Vulcan’s September Showdown was truly an epic event, with thousands of players taking part across Vulcan Studios games and social media. To begin, a huge thank you to all who took time to enter the competition! We hope you agree, it’s been a huge amount of fun and we’ve seen the emergence of some real competitive streaks, as well as great talent through the Video Valor and Builders of the ‘Verse events.
Some amazing statistics:
- 1000+ participants in total across all quests
- 50+ video entries
- 35+ Twitter creators with over 800+ Tweets crafted throughout the campaign
Unfortunately, with $50,000 worth of prizes up for grabs, we’ve also seen the negative flip-side, with some players breaking the rules to score highly on our leaderboards. As are the rules and stated in the September Showdown terms and conditions, these players have been disqualified – which means all the more prizes for the majority that stuck to the rules and finished in winning positions based on merit!
Builders of the ‘Verse
For this September Showdown event, players were asked to submit builds in VulcanVerse and MetaScapes to us, based on specific themes. For VulcanVerse, the theme was Law & Order. For MetaScapes, The Olympics.
We saw some truly amazing entries, players dazzled the team and those watching on through X where builds were shared with their architectural savvy and their eye for detail.
Of course, it all came down to the polls. Players, the Vulcan Building Inspectorate (the VBI are a team of players with a goal of encouraging others to use Vulcan’s tools to maximum effect when building) and the team all had their say; the winners sharing a prize pool worth $12,000. Winners and prizes follow:
Game Masters
This one wasn’t too difficult. Players were asked to compete in any of Vulcan Studios games—VulcanVerse, Berserk, HeXenagos, Creed, Royale, Tower Defense, Vulcan Runner or Tartarus—to earn XP and climb the ranks. Again, a prize pool worth $12,000 was awaiting those eager gamers, and they didn’t disappoint. Winners and prizes as follows (note – this is a big list so bear with us!):
Video Valor
This September Showdown event was aimed both at those comfortable with video creation and those with an eye for marketing and promotion. It’s safe to say that we’ve got some new video heroes in the making based on this section of the competition alone. There was a $10,000 prize pool here and videos were judged based on their quality and impact (organic views, likes, and comments). Winners and prizes as follows:
Referral Champions
Key to this event was bringing in new people to further grow the community. As widespread as Vulcan Forged marketing is these days, sometimes nothing beats that personal touch; an existing player telling their friends and family about the merits of the ecosystem.
Unfortunately, referring new players has proved too easy to fake – with many users opting to use fraudulent means to bring their total up and top the leaderboard. For this reason, the prize pool as covered in the previous September Showdown article has been removed, with new prizes for those valid referrals given out. As a reference, only 5 users out of the 28 have 100% valid referrals. We do however, understand that a small percentage of referrals from users that have not stuck to the rules may be valid. We will be awarding $20 for each valid referral to all participants, including those with same-IP referrals, provided they have not engaged in any other unethical practices.
The team plan to launch a more refined referral event in the future with clear guidelines to avoid any such instances again.

Twitter Creator Quest
This one? Easy – become a top-notch creator for the Vulcan brand and help us spread our name far and wide. We asked out Twitter (yes, X) creators to engage with all our tweets and retweets, including tweeting every other day about us, amplifying our announcements, sharing thoughts, highlighting our products, educating the audience and going as far as creating memes! Participants were asked to mention @VulcanForged and use the $PYR cashtag in each tweet. Some creators will not be rewarded as they did not complete the minimum Tweet requirement. The Twitter Creator quest was so successful that we are working on a monthly creator campaign!
