We’re all in a frenzy here at Vulcan HQ – as the Vulcan Studios Frenzy Pass is available for purchase on Thursday 24th October 2024 at 1pm UTC, with the pass being required to earn LAVA in all Vulcan Studios games* from Monday 28th October!
As covered in our LAVA economy update, for just $5 paid in the PYR equivalent of $5 USDT every month, the Frenzy Pass provides you access to earning LAVA through Vulcan Studios games. Simply purchase the pass in My Forge by navigating to ‘My Earnings’ and clicking on the Frenzy Pass tab at the top. From here, the user can click to buy and choose whether they want to spend market or main wallet PYR (note, this will likely change in the near future as changes to the market wallet system are planned).
Looking to get some PYR? It’s available on multiple exchanges and can be swapped for multiple tokens at ElysiumSwap, our decentralized exchange. You’ll need Elysium PYR (that is, PYR on the Elysium blockchain rather than on the Polygon or Ethereum networks) to purchase your Pass.
Once the pass is purchased, the duration of the pass is shown in green on the page, with a live timer counting down. Be sure to purchase in time again if you plan on earning LAVA from Vulcan Studios games the following month!

Frenzy Pass FAQs
Will Frenzy Pass apply to the LAVA Bank?
Yes, the Frenzy Pass will apply to the LAVA Bank as well. It will cover all game rewards, including those from the LAVA Bank.
The pass is required for active plans, but should the user not want to purchase the Frenzy Pass, they are able to cancel their LAVA Bank plan without a fee.
Will Cedalions require a Frenzy Pass?
The Frenzy Pass will be required for both landowners and Cedalions. Cedalions will earn their share of LAVA if they have a pass, and landowners will earn if they have their own pass.
We will implement a system where landowners can sponsor a Frenzy Pass for their Cedalion.
Why not charge USDT for the pass instead of PYR?
Following consultation, we will charge PYR for the Frenzy Pass set at the equivalent of 5 USDT per pass. This avoids price fluctuation. Initially users will be able to select whether the pass fee is taken from their main or market wallet. In the near future the market wallet will be removed leaving the on-chain main wallet as the only option.
When is the Frenzy Pass going live?
From Monday 28th October 2024 at 1pm UTC the Frenzy Pass will be live and required to earn LAVA from Vulcan Studios games. You can purchase the pass from Thursday 24th October 2024 at 1pm UTC.
What if I don’t purchase a Frenzy Pass?
Anyone without cannot earn LAVA from Vulcan Studios games – they will only earn XP.
I’m worried I’ll forget to renew my Pass and miss out on LAVA earnings. Is there a prompt?
Users can subscribe to multiple passes in advance, which should mean there is no concern about forgetting to renew, however we will also email users at the email address linked to their My Forge account three days before their Frenzy Pass expiry date.
*in all Vulcan Studios games where LAVA earning is live.
**Vulcan Studios games do have daily caps, though due to the amount of games to play, a single player would not be able to play all and hit all caps each day.
