The Quadrants
Each of the four quadrants will grant landowners their own unique look, designs, and building materials. Landowners will be able to level up their land, which unlocks new assets, buildings, and characters (Vulcanites) to explore the world and forage NFT’s. Players can give likes to creative builds and Vulcan will grant rewards. Play-to-Earn is embedded throughout the gaming platform.
Land of Hades
The dark side of VulcanVerse, known as the underworld once ruled by Hades. It has demonic creatures and horrifying landmarks like Necropolis; the City of the Dead, the Palace of Death, swamps, River Acheron, and the River Styx. The sky will be dark, the rivers are colored red from the blood rains and the ground will be covered with the ashes from the volcano Thanatos.
Land of Arcadia
The Gardens of VulcanVerse and the Gods of Olympus. This quadrant is green and beautiful with landmarks like the Deep Forest, Druid’s Shrine, Woodlands of Ambrosia, and Wineries of the Nectar of the Gods. This is the homeland for creatures like Centaurs, Stags, and Ents.
Mountains of Boreas
Boreas is the God of the North Wind and of Winter and this quarter is filled with ice-bound mountains, eyries, crag castles, hilltop towns, sinkholes, and mines. The borders of Boreas are mountain ranges, tall, white-maned, slate grey mountains that reach up to the heavens. It is easy to get lost in the labyrinthine passages running through the mountains and it might be safer to take one of the high passes. In this icy and windy environment, only a few creatures will survive like powerful Minotaurs, mischievous Kobolois, Harpies, Cyclops, and a terrifying Sabre-tooth.
Land of Notus
Known as the desert of Notus, hot and arid with an infinite amount of sand. Three Pyramid Mausoleums are hidden in the sands of the desert awaiting discovery. Sphinxes are guarding the entrances of the tombs awaiting your entry. Besides the Dunes of Doom, you will discover the Cataract of Oceanus, Cataract of Tethys, and the mighty city of Iskandria. Dangerous creatures like Lions, Spiders, and Scorpions live here and are ready to defend their territory.
Sowing and Staking Land
Another aspect of VulcanVerse is staking.
You need to own land and level it up to at least level 2 and stake $PYR in your land to start getting rewarded.
Land can be leveled up to level 7 for maximum staking rewards.
A certain amount XP (in-game experience is required to upgrade for all levels).
There are three stages to this:
First, you must SOW the land. This is a ONE time action per level, represents the fee needed to upgrade.
Land can be sown and sold to enable a buyer to skip the fee before they level it.
Secondly, before staking can begin and the sowing period has finished you will also require XP (in-game experience) that can be earned by playing our games (new routes are continually being added for XP).
Finally, once land is SOWN, there is a 20-day period before it is open to be UPGRADED. To upgrade the land you must stake PYR in the land, and sacrifice some LAVA. As long as that PYR is locked up, it will remain at that level. If PYR is removed then it will drop level instantly. You can regain the level at any time by re-staking PYR and paying the LAVA cost again.
For example, if a user has Level 5 Land with 650 total PYR staked and removes 300 PYR, he now has 350 total PYR staked and his/her Land has dropped to level 4, They would have to spend 300 LAVA and re-Stake 300 PYR to regain level 5
PYR can be unstaked at any time and returned to the player
LAVA is burnt during the staking process
The earnings that you’ll receive from staking will be proportional to the amount of spending/contribution of each user relative to others
To carry out this process you must:
- Go to your MyForge account
- Select “SOW” and click on “Land”
- Press the SOW button to begin
